I am interested to find out whether members see any relationship between AutomationML and the ISA 88 standard, in particular the emerging Part 5
Also, a member of the Part 5 committee has said

"Thanks for the blog tip about AutomationML. However, I don't see any overlap with 88.05 because it defines a communication protocol, not functional requirements"
Is that a reasonable statement?
