This Chapter gives an introduction into the AutomationML Editor and describes typical use cases, the user interface as well as its main functions. The AML Editor was developed by the AML society in order to visualize major AutomationML concepts and to view, create and edit AML/CAEX files. It is suited for educational purposes and is a perfect entry point for learning, experimenting and understanding AML. It provides powerful features for creating, visualizing, documenting, manipulating and downloading available external AML libraries.
