Summary

Heterogeneous toolchains and discipline-specific artefacts make engineering data logistics in production systems engineering costly: manual transfers between tools add effort, introduce inconsistencies and weaken traceability. AML-BRIDGE (AutomationML-based Bidirectional Rule-guided Interoperability for Domain-specific Generation and Exchange) consolidates heterogeneous engineering artefacts into one AutomationML model and derives artefacts for downstream domains from the integrated upstream information.

Rule authoring, transformation, integration, export and round-trip exchange are combined in a single web application, so that design changes can be propagated in both directions between native engineering tools and the AutomationML model.
