Celebrating 20 Years of AutomationML — 22–23 September 2026, Hochschule Pforzheim, Germany.
On 22–23 September 2026, the AutomationML community will meet at Hochschule Pforzheim, Germany, to celebrate 20 years of AutomationML.
The conference will bring together experts and practitioners from industry, research and standardization to exchange practical experiences, discuss emerging developments, and jointly shape the future of open and interoperable automation engineering.
Participation
AutomationML member organizations: up to two participants per member organization may attend free of charge.
External participants: participation is available for a fee of EUR 299.
Speakers: speakers may participate free of charge.

Free of charge, directly in front of building T2.
Finding the conference room, by car or by bus
- When you have reached the university driving uphill, look to your right: in front of T1 there is an open barrier leading onto the car park. Park there. If it is full, there are plenty of further parking spaces on the opposite side of the road, also free of charge.
- Then walk back to the pedestrian bridge in front of T1.
- Enter T1 across the pedestrian bridge. Inside T1, the AutomationML Conference is signposted on the monitors.
- Walk straight through T1 for about 20 m towards the glass front, open it using the door opener, then leave T1 again and head for building T2.
- Enter T2 and walk straight ahead to the end of the corridor: that is room T2.2.05, where the catering is. The conference takes place there.
- One floor up, in T2.3.05, the general assembly is held.
