Nearly fifty participants attended the two-day conference. At the first day members of the AutomationML association presented their success stories with the data exchange format and their tools with AutomationML interface both highlighting the potential or realized economic benefits of the use of the AutomationML data format. The second day comprised additional presentations and workshops providing detailed information on the technical use of AutomationML for example for the use in importer and exporter implementation. In parallel to the presentations and workshops different engineering tools have been presented successfully integrating AutomationML in the engineering workflow.
All in all the conference formed a platform for discussions, experience exchange and it was well received by the attendees. At this point AutomationML would like to thank the Daimler AG for the kind support and all others who conduced to success.
