On July 13th 2012 the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has announced that COLLADA 1.5.0 has been published as ISO/PAS 17506:2012. AutomationML welcomes this process following its association goals of provision of free and independent standardized data formats for the data exchange within the engineering process of automation systems.
