October 24th, 2016. Magdeburg. We are happy to welcome Airbus Operations SAS as a new member of the AutomationML association.
AutomationML e.V. is going to publish ‘Best Practice Recommendations’ to complement the AutomationML standard – IEC 62714 – and to give modelling guidelines for specific use cases.
At the SPS/IPC/Drives 2016 in Nuremberg AutomationML e.V. had established a liaison with the FDT Group. Board members of AutomationML e.V. had signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to confirm the collaboration.
In March 2016, the first result of the liaison of AutomationML e.V. and OPC Foundation was published: the whitepaper „OPC Unified Architecture Information Model for AutomationML“. Now, nine month later, this whitepaper had become DIN SPEC 16592 „Combining OPC Unified Architecture and Automation Markup Language“.
From November 22nd to 24th, 2016 AutomationML e.V. will attend the SPS/IPC/Drives in Nuremburg. You can find us in hall 6 at the eCl@ss booth (6-213).
The AutomationML association had invited – together with the host Festo – to the 4th AutomationML User Conference. 100 people from 13 countries from 46 companies and research institutes came.
IEC 62424 Ed. 2.0 „Representation of process control engineering – Requests in P&I diagrams and data exchange between P&ID tools and PCE-CAE tools“, which defines CAEX 3.0, is available now.
The final conference program of the fourth AutomationML user conference is available.
